Omid Scobie might identify the supposedly "racist" royal who questioned the color of Prince Archie's skin in his latest book on Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and the Royal Family, a new report claimed.
Meghan Markle, Prince Harry’s Unofficial Biographer to Release New Book
The British journalist has unveiled the cover of his imminent book called “Endgame,” a follow-up to his 2020 release “Finding Freedom.” "A penetrating investigation into the current state of the British monarchy—an unpopular king, a power-hungry heir to the throne, a queen willing to go to dangerous lengths to preserve her image, and a prince forced to start a new life after being betrayed by his own family," the description on Amazon read.
Speculations are rife that the upcoming book is jam-packed full of royal secrets, including the happenings when Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were still living in the palace with the other members of the royal family. "I've been told this is bad, very bad. It is unlikely that Royal aides will comment, but if there are charges of racism, they will, of course, be robustly rebutted,” an unnamed source told The Mail on Sunday.
"The word is this is going to have bombshell after bombshell. Some are even speculating it may name the person who questioned what color Archie's skin would be. Everyone knows Omid is the Sussexes' unofficial mouthpiece, so it's fair to say there will be a huge deal of interest in this book on both sides of the Atlantic,” another insider stated, per Express UK.
“Endgame: Inside the Royal Family and the Monarchy's Fight for Survival” is set to be released on November 28 after being postponed from its original August release date so that it could contain information from the Coronation. It is unknown if the author interviewed Meghan Markle and Prince Harry personally; however, he has stated that he questioned family members, close friends, and former Palace personnel.
Omid has previously stated that the book will "have the world talking" and that the royals will be "ashamed" of some of its contents. If Scobie decides to reveal who supposedly questioned the color of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's firstborn's skin, it will undoubtedly make headlines.
Meghan Markle, Prince Harry Claimed One Royal Questioned Archie’s Skin
To recall, in March 2021, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry had a startling interview with Oprah Winfrey, claiming that while the “Suits” alum was pregnant with their baby Archie, one royal questioned how dark his complexion would be.
Meghan Markle shared, at the time, that there were "concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be when he was born.” "That was relayed to me from Harry. Those were conversations that family had with him,” the wife of Prince Harry furthered.
The Duchess of Sussex declined to reveal who it was who made the “racist” comments, claiming it would be very damaging to the royal family. Following Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s interview, the palace released a statement, saying it is saddened to learn how challenging the last few years have been for the royal couple.
