Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have often made headlines due to their palpable love for each other. However, their latest "look of love" has enraged their critics, who claim that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are only "putting on appearances."
Meghan Markle, Prince Harry Lambasted For Being Very Affectionate
On November 8, a TikTok video of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, during their recent presentation at the Warrior Fitness Program's new West Coast Facility in downtown San Diego, CA, became viral. This is the same occasion at which the Duchess of Sussex provoked outrage by wearing a poppy in honor of veterans, which some interpreted as a disrespect to Americans, per Express UK.
Detractors have falsely claimed that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are on their way to divorce court, which may explain why their recent public appearances have been filled with affection that has previously been denounced as "against royal protocol." Amateur "body language analysts" continue to say that "#PrinceHarry looks glum as #MeghanMarkle beams in first public outing since birthday row."
The "row" in question is about King Charles' birthday. According to Palace sources, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry "snubbed" an invitation, but the Duke and Duchess of Sussex maintain they were never invited in the first place.
While the viral TikTok video stated that Prince Harry was "miserable" with Meghan Markle, other footage showed the couple smiling at onlookers — and each other — during the occasion. One netizen said, "the racist, bigoted media think exactly the way you think. And people u follow only post negativity about HM."
Prince Harry, for his part, preferred to keep the focus of his last visit on the veterans. "The holistic, whole person approach that Naval Special Warfare takes in supporting active-duty service members and veterans is unparalleled. When veterans walk through these doors, not only will they have the tools to heal their bodies, but also the resources to heal their minds,” the husband of Meghan Markle stated.
Meghan Markle, Prince Harry ‘Angry’ At Princess Kate’s Popularity
Meanwhile, a royal expert claimed that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been left feeling "angry and isolated" by Princess Kate and Prince William's rising popularity in the United States. Despite Harry's admissions in his autobiography “Spare,” Sarah Hewson, royal editor of Talk TV, said Prince William had a new "army of fans" and Princess Kate "looks like a queen in waiting."
"It could have very much gone the other way for Kate and William and I think they were very concerned about how the American public might respond to these revelations. But it looks from the polling, that they are siding with Kate and William,” Sarah said, per Daily Express. The royal expert believes that watching the US embrace Kate and William will contribute to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s "frustration," as well as their feelings of "isolation" and "angry."
