NEW YORK, Sept. 27, 2017 -- Varonis Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:VRNS), a leading provider of software solutions that protect data from insider threats and cyberattacks, invites Microsoft Ignite attendees to visit booth #1047 and see how the Varonis Data Security Platform enables security on premises and in the cloud, hear about the recent release of DatAdvantage for Exchange Online, and learn about ongoing efforts to integrate with Azure Information Protection.
Varonis will also showcase how it will integrate with some of the industry-leading Information Protection solutions such as Azure Information Protection to enable users to better secure sensitive files across enterprise data stores. By integrating with Azure Information Protection, customers will be able to automatically apply classification labels and encrypt files that Varonis has identified as sensitive -- helping organizations to better secure their data regardless of where it is stored and use Varonis to perform additional discovery and classification for files that are already encrypted.
“Enterprises routinely handle documents containing sensitive information about their customers, but surprisingly 64% of organizations say they don’t know where their sensitive content is located or who can access it -- a situation that all but opens the door for reputation-shattering breaches and disruptive and expensive attacks from insiders, sophisticated attackers and malware like ransomware,” says Varonis’ CMO David Gibson. “Fortunately, security automation can help address many critical security issues facing enterprises today. At Microsoft Ignite, we’re looking forward to discussing how IT experts can help identify and prioritize risks and quickly lock down their environment.”
Varonis protects your file and email servers from cyberattacks and insider threats. The Varonis Data Security Platform analyzes the behavior of the people and machines that access your data, alerts on misbehavior and enforces a least privilege model.
