Pauley Perrette is making headlines — not for the new show she is in, but for the show she has left. The actress recently implied that Mark Harmon had a huge role in her exit from the top police procedural series in America that allegedly involved physical assault.
Last week, Perrette went on a tweetstorm after seemingly getting exasperated from fans’ relentless questions on whether she will reunite with Harmon on “NCIS.” It is possible that the confirmed return of Cote de Pablo’s Ziva David has sparked a barrage of questions.
Perrette’s most recent tweets about her last moments on CBS has since been deleted, but TMZ has kept the receipts. In one of the posts, the actress said in all caps, “NO I AM NOT COMING BACK EVER.”
She then added she is “terrified” of her former co-star making it appear that her fear of Harmon was what forced her to leave the show. Perrette completed the tweet by plugging her upcoming CBS show “Broke” saying, “I have a new show that is SAFE AND HAPPY! You’ll love it! #HappyPlace Love y’all!”
However, fans are skeptical of her tweets. Some criticized her tweets for reportedly being “misleading.” Some argued that it was Harmon’s dog and not the actor who have hurt someone on set that happened in 2016.

TMZ reported at the time that eyewitnesses said the dog attacked after getting spooked while “roughhousing” with “NCIS” crew members. Meanwhile, a source of The Wrap also said in 2018 that Perrette reportedly had decided to leave the top-rated show even before the dog-biting incident occurred.
In a follow-up tweet, the actress shared what seemed to be photos of the crew member that was purportedly attacked by Harmon’s dog. “THIS happened To my crew member and I fought like hell to keep it from happening again! To protect my crew! And then I was physically assaulted for saying NO!?and I lost my job,” Perrette claimed in a deleted tweet. The actress starred in “NCIS” since its premiere in 2002 and left the show in 2018.
