“Manifest” season 1 tells the story of a missing plane and its passengers. While airborne, Flight 828 experienced turbulence on its way back to New York City. The plane also lost its power but it came back on very quickly.
However, when the plane finally reached New York and landed at the airport, the passengers and the crew were shocked to learn that all of them have been presumed dead since they have been missing for more than five years already.
The passengers do not know what exactly happened to them or the plane after they experienced the violent shaking of the plane. Now, they returned to the lives that they did not know were already five years ahead since they took Flight 828, and by this time, the world has already moved on without them.
“Manifest” season 1 episode 5 is set to air on Oct. 22 at 10 p.m. on NBC.
