“MacGyver” Season 3 Episode 12 will be dealing with a potentially catastrophic situation as it involves the retrieval of an improvised nuclear weapon. Of course, the bomb won’t likely detonate given that if it does, the consequences of it will ripple out into future episodes. That’s not exactly how the show handles its plotline.
But even with this in mind, “MacGyver” Season 3 Episode 12 will still be a fun story to watch and the entertainment will come from how Mac (Lucas Till) and the team will handle the situation. Apart from the regular cast, however, a new character will be introduced called Charlotte Cole (Bridget Regan), CarterMatt reported. Here’s the synopsis for the upcoming episode.
“The Phoenix teams up with a woman who’s a soccer mom by day but a master thief by night to catch one of her contacts, an underworld criminal, who has hired her to steal a dirty bomb.” It’s still unclear why Cole has turned against her employer, but since a dirty bomb is involved it’s likely that the thief wants to stop it from causing a catastrophe. Some fans are hoping that “MacGyver” Season 3 Episode 12 will explore Cole as a character given that her background is an interesting one.
Others are assuming that Cole will become part of Phoenix – maybe some sort of consultant or a permanent member – in the future. Although this is speculation at this point, it’s important to remember that Dalton (George Eads) will be leaving this installment. As such, showrunners might very well be looking to replace the character and Cole is a likely candidate to fill the job. If the thief makes a good impression on “MacGyver” Season 3 Episode 12, then this possibility could transition to reality.
After all, someone who is living a double life will certainly add spice to the team and can easily be a fan favorite moving forward. Whatever the case, Cole will be aiding Mac and her trade will likely take center stage in “MacGyver” Season 3 Episode 12. The upcoming release is scheduled to air on Jan. 11.
