“MacGyver” Season 3 Episode 7 will have Mac (Lucas Till) travel to Ghana on a mission to retrieve a hard drive located in an e-waste landfill. However, this might not be just a typical walk-in, walk-out operation as the location is owned by a powerful and violent individual, Carter Matt reported.
What’s more, there is a certain mysterious air that shrouds this recovery since Matilda (Meredith Eaton) refuses to provide more information as to what exactly the hard drive contains. Other than saying that a file named “Dragonfly” inside the device holds a certain degree of importance, Matty is withholding further details from the team. As such, Mac and team will start speculating in “MacGyver” Season 3 Episode 7 to find out the reason why the director of operations is being so secretive.
Although Matty has been present for most of the first installment, fans know little about the character other than the technical side of things. “MacGyver” Season 3 Episode 7 could very well be looking into developing this character’s arc, especially since a number of the supporting cast members' stories have been explored.
Indeed, even the infamous Murdoc (David Dastmalchian) is being given some spotlight in this installment as the villain will be seeking the help of Mac in the sixth episode. The reason for the team-up is that Murdoc’s son is going to be kidnapped. The villain will then force Mac into a partnership, which will provide the protagonist with some background on Murdoc’s past and the other unexplored aspects of the character. It’s still unclear whether this team-up will have an impact on the story of “MacGyver” Season 3 Episode 7.
What’s certain at the moment is Mac and the team’s burning curiosity regarding the secrecy of Matty and the file that she wants to acquire. Whatever the case, Mac is going to be flying to Ghana in “MacGyver” Season 3 Episode 7, which is slated to air on Nov. 9.
