The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) will host the Bitcoin Expo on 7th and 8th March, which is being held within a year of the first event which took place in May of 2014.
The Expo will feature speakers such as Bitcoin Foundation chief scientist Gavin Andresen, Circle Internet Financial founder and CEO Jeremy Allaire, Blockstream co-founder Matt Corallo, Chain founder Adam Ludwin, and many others.
Jonathan Harvey-Buschel, president of the MIT Bitcoin Club, said that the gathering gives developers a platform to learn how the digital currency ecosystem has transformed in the past year and "foreshadow the developments to come".
"Students are finding existing services to use their bitcoin on, as well as creating their own," he said. "In fact, ordering food online via Foodler using bitcoin was something I had heard about from a student outside of the club, after the airdrop."
