“Lucifer” season 4 was saved by Netflix last year, and this year it is finally returning to the small screen. The popular streaming site picked up the drama after FOX Network ordered its cancellation just after three seasons.
At any rate, fans made it possible for the show to be revived because after launching a “save Lucifer” campaign, the show was immediately renewed by a new network. If not, it would have been shelved, perhaps for good. This is why the cast was so thankful to their viewers and they expressed their gratefulness by calling out the fans through social media.
The good news is that “Lucifer” season 4’s filming is now complete and here are some highlights to expect. The most interesting scenes to anticipate are probably Tom Ellis’ nude scenes. Yes, viewers will see Lucifer Morningstar without clothes and this was confirmed by the showrunners and Ellis.
Via social media, the actor shared photos of himself working out to prepare for his scenes and the most telling indication of his “nudes” was a photo of a small clothe that he shared on Instagram. It was later explained that it is a kind of “pouch” that is commonly used as protectors when actors have to go nude.
Additionally, showrunner Ildy Modrovich also discussed “Lucifer” season 4’s sexy scenes and he said that there are many scenes that feature Tom Ellis' very toned body. In his interview with TV Line, he said, “We didn’t want to see anything crazy, but we wanted to see the ‘back’ of him. After all, everybody has a butt.”
He added, “He’s got a wonderful, wonderful booty, so why not show it?”
Meanwhile, the writers of “Lucifer” season 4 shared all the titles for this installment via the Lucifer writers room and here they are: "Everything's Okay," "Somebody's Been Reading Dante's Inferno," "O, Ye Of Little Faith, Father," "All About Eve," "Expire Erect," "Orgy Pants to Work," "Devil Is As Devil Does," "Super Bad Boyfriend," “Save Lucifer” and “King of Hell.”
Radio Times reported that “Lucifer” season 4 will be split into two parts and will take a short break after Netflix broadcast the first five chapters. It is common for drama series in the U.S. to have mid-season breaks and it appears that this practice also applies to streaming sites.
“Lucifer” season 4 has no airdate yet but it is expected to be announced soon considering the fact that filming is already complete.
