There will be a couple of new characters to be introduced in “Lucifer” season 4 and they have major roles to fill. Is it possible that one of them is the person being described as the “New King of Hell” in the finale episode?
Over the past months, writers of “Lucifer” season 4 have generously shared the titles of the 10 upcoming episodes on Netflix. However, they obviously decided to be more secretive with the final installment. They still shared the script's front page but some words in the title were redacted and only showing the phrase “New King of Hell."
As expected, this teaser was followed by many “Lucifer” season 4 theories. ComicBook implied that the undisclosed word (or words) is very likely referring to a character name and Amenadiel (D.B. Woodside) is one of their top suggestions. It was also pointed out that there might be no way to correctly guess it, especially if it pertains to an all-new character.
Earlier this year, co-showrunner Joe Henderson confirmed (via TVLine) that someone from Lucifer's past will be introduced for the first time in “Lucifer” season 4. Without giving any hints, the Henderson only said this new character will play a major role and will "bring a whole new dimension to everything."
Another new character arriving in “Lucifer” season 4 is the show's contemporary take on the first woman on Earth dubbed as the “original sinner" — Eve (Inbar Lavi). It was previously reported that her character will debut in episode 3 but it is safe to bet that her arc will officially begin in episode 4 as its title "All About Eve" suggests.
The cast and crew of “Lucifer” season 4 are almost done with filming, Aimee Garcia confirmed. The actress, who portrays Ella Lopez in the show, shared a behind-the-scenes video on Tuesday saying she already misses her colleagues since they only have “three more days” left before wrapping up. This is a likely indication that the show will be released in early 2019.
