In last night's episode of the hit TV series 'Lucifer' we get to see another side of the devil himself as he discovers new, unfamiliar feelings. Also, what's even mind blowing is the fact that the second corrupt cop that Chloe was searching for was his ex-husband Dan all along. If you have watched this week's episode then you clearly know what we are talking about. Otherwise, here is a recap of last night's episode titled "Et tu Doctor?"
As per the FOX synopsis, “when a therapist is murdered, Lucifer and Chloe enlist the help of Dr. Linda to look into possible suspects. Meanwhile, Malcolm confronts Chloe about the night he was shot, and Lucifer experiences his first bout of jealousy.”
First off in the list is Lucifer and his jealousy towards Dan everytime Chloe and him get together. In Monday's episode, Lucifer celebrated his "birthday" after burning his angel wings on the beach. He clearly was having the time of his life until Chloe attended the party at Lux with Dan in tow. Lucifer thought that the two might be in good terms again but the truth is Chloe had recently become to depend on Dan because he was the only person in the police department that Chloe could still trust. And she needed his help in finding the second dirty cop.
In the process of finding the second corrupt cop, Chloe still has to do other cases and recently she has to find the culprit who killed a therapist. And, unbeknownst to Chloe, Lucifer decided to use their case to get Chloe into therapy for what he thought was her stupid decision in wanting to take Dan back.
In order for them to find evidence, they needed a third party therapist to look into the victim's file. And who could better be that than Dr. Linda herself, Lucifer's therapist. They found out that The killer turned out to be a good friend of the late doctor Shaw and his wife’s. So Lucifer had him admit to his inner desires and that made the fellow doctor say all he ever wanted was Shaw’s wife Sandy.
They were then able to identify him and catch him in time.
And as for Chloe, she clearly does not fully know her ex-husband as Dan turned out to be the person she was looking for, the corrupt cop. Dan was being blackmailed by Malcolm into doing corrupt things with him.
What would Chloe do when she finds out about this? We shall see when the show returns with another episode next week.
