LUBBOCK, Texas, Jan. 24, 2016 -- For the second year in a row, Dr. Korey D. Kothmann, DC, of Lubbock Advanced Physical Medicine has been voted Best Chiropractor in the KCBD news channel's annual Best of the West awards. The yearly event honors local businesses that represent the very best that their given industries have to offer. KCBD television viewers and KCBO.com users nominate and vote on local businesses, which makes the awards all the more special. "I am flattered to have been voted Best Chiropractor in the greater Lubbock area once again," said Dr. Kothmann. "Of course, it wouldn't be possible without my amazing team or without our valued patients. We're thrilled that we not only live up to patients' expectations but that we exceed them," he added.
Numerous chiropractors and chiropractic offices serve Lubbock and the surrounding area, so being singled out for this annual honor is a major coup for Dr. Kothmann and his team. The chiropractor largely credits his practice's "whole person" approach to chiropractic care for its ongoing success. In addition to offering a full array of chiropractic services, including chiropractic adjustments, the practice offers non-surgical spinal decompression therapy, physical medicine, massage therapy, myofascial release and lifestyle advice and counseling.
Patients of Lubbock Advanced Physical Medicine are treated using an integrative approach that pulls together a wide variety of proven, drug-free, non-invasive techniques. The majority of those who come to the practice initially do so for help managing and treating chronic pain--typically in the neck or lower back. After being treated, many continue visiting the practice to receive ongoing chiropractic adjustments, massage therapy and other services. "The goal is to not only help patients reduce, manage and eliminate their chronic pain," said Dr. Kothmann, "but to take steps to prevent those issues from cropping up again in the future."
Dr. Kothmann and his team strive to get to know each patient on a personal level, and they work to address patients' various health-related concerns--even if they don't necessarily involve the spine. A prime example of this is the lifestyle guidance that the office provides, which instructs patients on steps that they can take to achieve healthier, happier lifestyles. The office also offers doctor-supervised weight-loss plans that help people achieve their long-term fitness goals.
"Our patients know that we care about them on a personal level because it shines through in everything that we do," said Dr. Kothmann. Still, the chiropractor isn't one to rest on his laurels. "There's always room for improvement, and that's what we strive for," he said. "Winning this award again is delightful, but we won't take patients' satisfaction for granted now or in the future."
