The hit crime drama TV series that everyone has been watching is now renewed for a fifth season on A&E Network. So thank the gods for the Netflix has ordered another season of the most popular series. There is still no official news as to the official premiere date but still fans are rejoicing. Here are your tidbits of info about possible spoilers, rumors, and updates. Spoiler alert!
With the series' strong following, it is not impossible for the show to have another season even if the age bracket of viewers are more mature.
Fans are raving for a crossover with 'Criminal Minds' to happen in the next season. But according to Yibada, finding a show to team up with the Netflix series is difficult since the story line and the setting make it difficult to connect with other shows. Also, CBS airs "Criminal Minds" while Netflix streams "Longmire," so having different studios will hinder what possibly be a great crossover. Another reason could be the difference on the bad guys that the two shows are after, which might be difficult for the writers to seamlessly put together.
The finale of the fourth season was all about cliffhangers when a mystery character who suddenly barged in while Walt was finally spending some intimate time with Donna (Aly Walker). Many speculations are made as to who the character is. Many say that it could be Walker Browning (Callum Keith Renni) since he was last seen getting out of his hospital bed. Another could be Jacob Nighthorse (A Martinez) who is always in a fight with Walt.
We shall find out more when the fifth season of Longmire returns. So stay tuned for more updates.
