Meet Michael Levy
Prior to buying an established Minuteman Press franchise in Long Island, Michael Levy owned other small businesses and did business consulting. Michael took over Minuteman Press in Levittown from retiring owners Steve Haller and Charlie Kick, who ran the business for 35 years. Michael has expanded his products and services for clients with a broader range of promotional products, custom branded apparel, signs and banners, and in-house large format printing. In 2016, Michael was awarded as the Small Businessperson of the Year by the Chamber. In April 2017, Michael finalized the acquisition of local independent printing business, which further expanded his capabilities for customers. Michael has been married to his wife Gwen for 28 years and has three children Melanie, Ryan, and Allison.
"Michael Levy is an exemplary member of his business community and it is no surprise that he is being recognized for his efforts by the Levittown Chamber of Commerce and the Levittown School District," says Brian Sisti, Minuteman Press International Area Manager for the Long Island Region including Nassau County, Suffolk County, Queens, and Brooklyn. He adds, "Michael was able to take a long-established location to the next level through his dedication and hard work following the Minuteman Press franchise system including our marketing programs. He has done a fantastic job and I congratulate him on his latest award."
