In addition to his massive personal sneaker collection, the “Strike” rapper is increasingly becoming involved with major sneaker brands, mainly Nike. Yachty has played an integral role in the promotional efforts for Nigel Sylvester’s Jordan 4 RM, modeled for the Nike x Cactus Plant Flea Market collaboration, and appeared on Nike's SNKRS platform in early 2024. According to Sneaker News, this growing connection is culminating in the formal release of his sneaker collaboration with Nike: The Air Force 1 "Concrete Boys," which has now been fully revealed through official retail images.
Yachty’s edition of the classic Air Force 1 brings a fresh yet nostalgic twist to the iconic sneaker. While the base remains an all-white Air Force 1, Yachty’s design incorporates navy sock liners and outsoles, a nod to the silhouette's early 2000s releases. His affinity for that era is well-documented, with the design evoking F&F versions of this shoe, reminiscent of Nigo's influence and iconic colorways like the “West Indies.”
