‘Lethal Weapon’ season 1’s Episode 10, titled “Homebodies,” is set to feature Riggs and Murtaugh as they fight off drug dealers and gangs. The two are also set to get new partners, with Rigg possible getting a new love interest. Meanwhile, executive producer Matt Miller talked Clayne Crawford’s “crazy stunts” in the new season.
The synopsis for episode 10 posted on TV Guide reads, “Riggs (Clayne Crawford) and Murtaugh (Damon Wayans) are caught in a turf war between a new generation of drug dealers and a Koreatown gang; Murtaugh is teamed with a temporary new partner; and Trish (Keesha Sharp) tries to set up Riggs with her co-worker.”
Crawford and Wayans return to the small screens as Riggs and Murtaugh in the winter premiere. It seems that the two will be caught in a violent turf war between a Koreatown gang and a new generation of drug dealers as they investigate the murder of a millennial designer drug dealer.
The two are eventually split up and Murtaugh teams up with a new partner as Riggs is set up with Trish’s co-worker. According to International Business Times, Riggs may find a romantic prospect in his new partner considering that Lyndon Smith of ‘90210’ and ‘Public Morals’ fame is set to guest star in the episode. Although it remains unconfirmed whether Smith is set to play Sharp’s colleague, it was still rumored that Riggs may have a new love interest in the series.
Meanwhile, executive producer Matt Miller talked about Crawford’s “crazy stunts” in the new season during an interview with TV Line. Miller teased Riggs’ drug-induced stunts saying, “He ends up in a set piece, super high… So we get to watch him do his normal stuff, where he runs and jumps on the hood of a car, except all the lights of Koreatown are blurring by.”
‘Lethal Weapon’ season 1’s Episode 10, titled “Homebodies,” is scheduled to premiere on Fox on January 4, 2017. It will be followed by episode 11, titled "Lawmen," scheduled for January 11.
