Nintendo’s breakout hit Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is still causing crashing waves of hysteria among fans and reviewers alike, which makes for some rather fruitful data collection for media outlets. Among the latest news to come out is the fact that all 900 Korok seeds in the game have been found. More than that, there are also some publications advising players no to Fast Travel all the time.
For those who don’t know, Korok seeds in the new Zelda game are basically essential components that increase inventory space. Most gamers would likely agree that one can never have enough inventory space, which makes these rare in-game items incredibly appealing. One gamer with the Reddit username xFateAwaitsx, in particular, was so dedicated to finding all 900 seeds that he did so in a matter of days, Destructoid reports.
What with the Korok seeds being prized items in BOTW, they are incredibly challenging to find. On top of the remote locations of these seeds, players also need to solve a few puzzles to get them, which can make for some really rewarding gameplay.
As such, finding all 900 of these nifty items is a huge achievement in and of itself, but that’s where it stops. Collecting all of the seeds is meant to net players a reward once they present all the seeds to an NPC named Hetsu. Unfortunately (WARNING! Spoilers ahead), the reward is not really anything to speak of. In fact, gamers might be inclined to say that the item Hetsu’s Gift0 “stinks” as rewards go.
On to more constructive news, the people over at Kotaku are urging players to use the Fast Travel feature of the game as little as possible. It would appear that, with the help of the horses, the areas are not as huge as it initially seems. By walking on foot, players are also likely to find rewarding items and experiences along the way.
