The partnership makes Famous Dave's BBQ a preferred restaurant of choice for KCBS members, who travel thousands of miles a year to volunteer, sanction and organize more than 500 barbecue contests throughout America. In order to receive the partnership's benefits, members simply need to show their KCBS membership card to receive a "Famously KCBS" offer.
In addition to rewarding KCBS members with smokin' perks when they dine at a Famous Dave's BBQ, the partnership will introduce barbecue lovers of all types to the KCBS judging process, as well as acknowledge and reward teams who win professional contests each weekend on the competitive pro circuit.
"This is a marriage made in hog heaven," commented Carolyn Wells, the Executive Director of KCBS and one of its three founding members. "Our members love great barbecue, and Famous Dave's BBQ is one of the best places to find consistent, award-winning dishes any day of the week, anywhere in America."
"We are proud to be partnering with the world’s largest organizer of BBQ competitions," commented Mike Lister, CEO of Famous Dave's of America. "Their 30+ year heritage of sanctioning and scoring barbecue at contests has certainly made them America's barbecue experts. We look forward to welcoming and rewarding KCBS barbecue enthusiasts as they travel America to celebrate their fun-loving and professional barbecue mission."
Famous Dave's of America has almost 175 franchise and company-owned locations throughout the world. To find a participating store in the KCBS program, click here. To learn more about the benefits of a KCBS membership, click here.
