Leading Australian brand Vitasoy broadens its plant-based portfolio, debuting a range of Oat Yogurts. Made with Australian oats in their Albury-Wodonga facility, the lineup features flavors like Blueberry, Vanilla, and a tropical Summer Fruits blend, delivering a creamy texture and a nutritional punch.
As the number one selling Oat milk brand in Australia, Vitasoy has been a trailblazer in the plant-based market. Building upon their expertise in creating nutritious and flavorful plant-based milk, the company responded to the rising demand for dairy-free yogurt alternatives.
With their Greek Style Soy Yogurt portfolio enjoying immense success, Vitasoy seized the opportunity to diversify using an Oat milk base. Developing a range that delivers a signature smooth and creamy texture while enhancing the nutritional profile with added protein and calcium was the driving force behind this new launch.
Speaking about the new Oat Yogurt range, Nick Bartram, Vitasoy Australia's Marketing and Strategy General Manager, said they are incredibly proud of our 4 Health Star Rating. They can't wait to see the consumer response to the latest launch. The fortified Oat Yogurt contains beta-glucan, calcium, protein, and Vitamins B12 and D, making them tasty and supporting normal energy metabolism and immune system function.
Belinda Dib, an accredited practicing dietitian at Vitasoy Australia, highlighted the health benefits of the Oat Yogurts. Combining the soluble fiber in oats with live cultures found in fermented products, the range aims to support gut health, making it an ideal choice for health-conscious consumers.
Vitasoy Oat Yogurts, priced at $3, is now available at select Coles Supermarkets nationwide. The range includes Vitasoy Oat Yogurt Vanilla 140g, Vitasoy Oat Yogurt Blueberry 140g, and Vitasoy Oat Yogurt Summer Fruits 140g, all of which boast the classic dairy-based texture - thick, smooth, and creamy.
