Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper took the film industry by storm when their movie, “A Star is Born,” came out blazing with chemistry and romance. While the duo’s performance in the film made people fall in love, it seems that their relationship will only be a platonic one.
However, In Touch (via Gossip Cop) is claiming that Lady Gaga has called off her engagement with Christian Carino. The reason being is supposedly her feelings towards Bradley Cooper, which has apparently developed into a romantic one.
“She’s on top of the world with all the praise she’s getting for the movie and she has no time in her super busy schedule to plan a wedding, especially with the Oscars coming up. But then there’s the Bradley [Cooper] factor. They’ve grown incredibly close. If Irina [Shayk] wasn’t with Bradley, I bet [Lady] Gaga would be with him,” an unnamed source supposedly told the publication.
However, since In Touch wrote the story, readers should be wary of this claim given that the outlet has a history of writing falsehoods. There’s also the fact that Lady Gaga is still engaged with Christian Carino and were seen being intimate with each other during the recently concluded Golden Globes Award. The songstress also thanked her fiancé during an acceptance speech for Best Actress and was clearly still enamored with the man. Meanwhile, Bradley Cooper’s relationship with Irina Shayk seems to be stronger than ever, Hello reported.
The couple also sparked engagement and wedding rumors during the New Year’s holiday when Shayk posted a photo on Instagram with a gold ring on that finger. As for Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga, both haven’t hinted at a romantic development between them and has only referred to each other as close friends, People reported.
“I made a friend for life. As great as this movie was, the thing that I think I’ll take away forever is the relationship I have with her because she is an incredible person. I’m very lucky to have worked with her,” Bradley Cooper told the publication. Lady Gaga has expressed similar sentiments and thanked the “American Sniper” actor for believing in her, which in turn has bolstered the singer’s self-confidence.
