Gamers will get another chance to take a closer look at “Kingdom Hearts 3” at the X018 event that is scheduled to take place in Mexico City on Nov. 10 to 11. The official Xbox Mexico Twitter feed has confirmed that a Square Enix will be showcasing a playable demo of the upcoming game at the event, so don’t forget to check it out if you live nearby because this may be your last chance to test it before it launches next year.
Meanwhile, Square Enix has recently shared some screenshots of Sora, Donald, and Goofy interacting with the characters in the world of “Hercules.” Aside from Olympus Coliseum, Yen Sid's Mysterious Tower, Twilight Town, “Tangled’s” Kingdom of Corona, “Frozen’s” Kingdom of Arendelle, “Pirates of the Caribbean’s” Port Royal, “Monsters, Inc.’s” Monstropolis, and “Big Hero 6’s” San Fransokyo, have all been confirmed to appear in “Kingdom Hearts 3.”
Haley Joel Osment is returning to voice Sora in “Kingdom Hearts 3,” and Tony Anselmo and Bill Farmer are back as well as the voice of Donald Duck and Goofy, respectively. The two Disney characters will continue to accompany the series protagonist while he travels through Disney and Pixar-inspired worlds in his search for a way to prevent the Heartless from taking over the universe.
The rest of the voice cast for “Kingdom Hearts 3” includes Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Josh Gad and Jonathan Groff as Anna, Elsa, Olaf and Kristoff from “Frozen,” Zachary Levi and Donna Murphy as Flynn Rider and Mother Gothel from “Tangled,” John Ratzenberger and Wallace Shawn as Hamm and Rex from “Toy Story,” and Kevin R. McNally as Joshamee Gibbs from “Pirates of the Caribbean.”
“Kingdom Hearts 3” is scheduled to hit the shelves on Jan. 29 2019. More details will likely be revealed in the weeks before it comes out.
