There will be more promotional videos to be released for “Kingdom Hearts 3” before its official launch in January 2019. The news was confirmed by no less than its renowned game director Tetsuya Nomura.
Nomura addressed the video game fans waiting for “Kingdom Hearts 3” through the franchise’s official Japanese Twitter page. The game director announced the working release dates for at least three more promotional videos.
First up, a “new video” is slated to launch on Monday, Dec. 10. Another video Nomura described as the “final” “Kingdom Hearts 3” trailer will be out on Tuesday, Dec. 18. And, lastly, Square Enix will release a commercial video that runs for 30 seconds intended to be played in cinemas starting on Friday, Dec. 21.
Nomura added that he is still editing the 30-second “Kingdom Hearts 3” commercial video. It is unclear if this is different from the “Together” trailer released recently and has been playing in cinemas in North America. But since the announcement was made only through the Japanese Twitter page, the video due on Dec. 21 might be exclusively available in Japan.
Speaking of new “Kingdom Hearts 3” trailers, there was some mishap in Amazon’s promotional stint last week. The company, in partnership with Kinda Funny Games, held a stream event where several exclusive announcements were promised including a new trailer.
Apologies, the KH3 video featuring our awesome new, exclusive DLC has been consumed by Heartless and not available. Learn what that DLC is, how to get it exclusively from Amazon, and score a Twitch Prime bonus on Monday Nov. 26 around 1pm PST on https://t.co/Um2rnH0H2k!

However, expecting fans were disappointed that no new trailer was revealed all throughout the stream. The company then explained this week, “Apologies, the ‘KH3’ video featuring our awesome new, exclusive DLC has been consumed by Heartless and not available.”
It is possible that an unforeseen delay prevented Amazon from premiering the promised trailer. Note that in Nomura’s above-mentioned tweet, the game director also apologized before announcing the tentative dates for the remaining “Kingdom Hearts 3” trailers.
On the other hand, Amazon did announce the exclusive “Dusk Till Dawn” Keyblade DLC during the stream. This will be available to customers who will pre-order “Kingdom Hearts 3” through their platform. The much-awaited video game is slated to launch on Jan. 29, 2019 on PS4 and Xbox One.
