Later this week, major video game announcements will start pouring in as the Summer Game Fest kicks off and will be followed by the return of E3. While many games are highly anticipated to be part of the presentations, there might be a few surprises as well. Recently, fans have pieced together some intriguing clues that seemingly hint at the confirmation of the “Kingdom Come: Deliverance” sequel.
Video game publisher Deep Silver confirmed last week that its parent company Koch Media is gearing up for a Summer Game Fest event this Friday billed with the teaser statement: “We know something you don’t know.” A website and a Twitch channel named after that tagline have been launched and have been streaming a cryptic-looking room with a workstation.
The stream is made to look like a live security video feed. Eagle-eyed fans, however, noticed more clues from the video feed that seem to suggest “Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2” will be announced. Last Wednesday, someone dressed as a janitor came in to place a crown on top of the shelf. In the following clip, someone placed a miniature coffin on the office chair. Earlier this week, a new clip was a little more theatrical, with one of the janitors attempting to steal the crown, but the other threatened them with a mace bludgeon.
It can be recalled crowns have been one of the quest items players often collected in “Kingdom Come: Deliverance.” Fans have also associated viral videos of the so-called “coffin dance” to the game, and developer Warhorse Studios even posted about it last year. Meanwhile, the mace is arguably one of the most powerful weapons available in the game.

It is also worth noting Deep Silver has told fans ahead of time which games should not be expected at Summer Game Fest and any E3 event. Notably, the list does not include “Kingdom Come: Deliverance.” The publisher wrote, “To give you a head’s up, you won’t see Dead Island, Saints Row, Metro or TimeSplitters there (or at any other E3 2021 event). We’ll let you know when we have news to share.”
Our parent company @KochMedia_HQ is making an announcement as part of #SummerGamesFest on June 11th. To give you a head’s up, you won’t see Dead Island, Saints Row, Metro or TimeSplitters there (or at any other E3 2021 event). We’ll let you know when we have news to share.

More absurd items were added in the room over the last few days, including a pyramid-shaped paperweight, but some of them might not be related to “Kingdom Come: Deliverance.” The latest clip is live as of this writing and has been streaming close to 24 hours now.
No new items have been added so far, but it appears like it is the official countdown to Koch Media’s Summer Game Fest event this week based on the timer on the bottom-right corner of the footage. Fans can tune in on Koch Media’s event on Friday, June 11, at 12 p.m. PT / 3 p.m. ET.
