Kanye West's recent statements about slavery being a choice have finally been put to rest by the “Stronger,” rapper who came out with an apology for not addressing the controversial statement. The controversial statement was made by West during a TMZ interview.

While Kanye West has already apologized for the statement, rumors have emerged that Kanye West's wife, famous influencer Kim Kardashian, has been threatening the multi-award winning artist with divorce since he made the controversial statement. The rumor mills have said that West had a breakdown leading up to his apology due to pressure from Kim Kardashian to apologize and controlling certain aspects of his professional life.

Gossip Cop recently debunked the claims that Kim Kardashian was siezing control of Kanye West's public image and professional practices. One of the rumored claims was West was forced by Kardashian to rehire his manager, Scooter Braun, whom West has supposedly not worked with for a long time and who may be the cause of his eccentricity.

Braun easily debunked this claim when he talked about his working relationship with Kanye West in an interview with Billboard, where he describes their professional relationship as between friends and advisors. Braun also mentions that he has already been working with Kanye West for quite some time since the interview happened. Recently, John Monopoly has even joined the team to co-manage Kanye West with Scooter Braun.

The second poinit of the rumor is Kim Kardashian's furiousness over Kanye West's statements has her pursuing a divorce with the musician. Kardashian herself has debunked being overly furious about the aftermath of West's statements in an interview with Extra. Kardashian mentioned that while she was very much upset about the statement, she and Kanye West were able to smoothen things out, as described in West's recent song, “Wouldn't Leave.”

Kim Kardashian has only publicly showed support for her husband, Kanye West, and it looks like such an arrangement between the two is not going to change anytime soon.
