There is no need to ask why the “Back to You” singer is being dragged into the Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin engagement write-ups since she is the former’s ex-girlfriend after all. What’s more, it has only been four months since they broke up and he got engaged already!

As of this time, his post already garnered over 9.5 million likes and still counting. While many threw in negative comments on the news of his engagement, the number of likes proved that more people support his decision than those who do not.

Moreover, a source relayed that Selena Gomez was simply surprised because the engagement happened so fast, but knowing who Justin really is, she knows he could do something like this. The insider noted that “At the end of the day though she doesn't really care," and added that the 25-year-old beauty is totally over Justin now.

Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber started dating in 2010 but they were in an on again, off again sort of relationship. They reconciled briefly earlier this year but split for good in March.
