Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin have been bombarded by rumors that they already got married following their engagement in July. But fans have never gotten any confirmation yet from the couple and even Ireland Baldwin says she has “no idea.”
Ireland is Hailey's cousin who is also known for being a fashion model. Ireland attended the iHeartRadio Festival in Las Vegas last weekend, where she was asked about the wedding rumors hounding her cousin and Bieber. “I have no idea what their situation is,” Ireland told Entertainment Tonight.
However, if Ireland is going to guess how Hailey and Bieber are doing, she suggested that they are “just taking things slow.” Ireland also made reference to the countless reports about Bieber and Hailey’s PDA-packed vacations since they got engaged. Ireland said, “They’re just kissing all over the world. They’re just kissing and loving and having fun, and I think people take little details and get too caught up in them, and they’re looking too hard. Just let them kiss!”
Hailey Baldwin, who is also a widely followed fashion model, was noticeably absent during the major fashion events that recently occurred. Hailey’s earlier interview with WWD would explain her absence from the important fashion events.
“I’ve tried to be really choosy with fashion week going forward,” Justin Bieber’s beau said. “Just because I want to have the time to spend being relaxed and being with family — and my fiancé.”
In the end, Ireland expressed that their family is happy for Hailey and her engagement with Bieber. “It was meant to be a long time ago,” the model suggested before adding that the they “bring out the good in each other.”
Despite Ireland Baldwin’s inconclusive answer and Hailey Baldwin’s previous denial of the wedding rumors, PEOPLE ran a story on Sept. 13 claiming that Hailey and Justin Bieber already got married in a New York City courthouse. The magazine’s sources claimed that the couple is still planning to have a “religious ceremony and celebration with family and friends soon.”
