Jungkook, the BTS member, strikes again with his “golden touch” after it was reported that Mattel is delaying the release of the dolls created in his likeness because of the high demand from the fans. It was said that the mini-doll version of the BTS maknae would arrive a week later as fans continue to reserve their Jungkook miniature dolls.
The Jungkook dolls
According to Allkpop, even on Google, Jungkook’s Mattel doll has been on the top search list, which only means that his fans have been on the lookout for the release date, so they will be among the first to have it before the stock runs out. The 22-year-old’s merchandise is known to get sold out quickly, so everyone is waiting online to get their hands on the item.
The new release date for Jungkook’s dolls has been set for Nov. 18 instead of Nov. 11. The idol singer’s Mattel dolls were also listed as the most expensive compared to RM, Suga, Jimin, J-Hope, Jin, and V. His doll is priced at $17.99 while the rest have $9.99 price tags.
Rumored girlfriend controversy
Meanwhile, it can be recalled that Jungkook has been rumored to date a tattoo artist after they were spotted hanging out together when BTS was on break. A CCTV footage of the two was leaked, and it immediately spread like wildfire.
The woman who was with Jungkook issued a statement when the news broke out, denying that she and the idol are dating. Big Hit Entertainment also released a statement to deny the reports, but it was learned that fans continue to harass the woman as well as the tattoo shop where she works.
It has been almost two months since the news broke out, but it was reported that the woman is still receiving hate comments and criticisms just because she was linked to Jungkook. They already denied everything, but many fans just won’t leave her alone until now.
As per the story, a friend of the girl told YTN Star on Oct. 22 that the tattoo artist is extremely stressed out. “I think it's amazing she didn't take her own life,” the source said. “They're totally draining her and cursing at her over things that haven't even been confirmed."
