Julia Roberts Shocking Claim: ‘Pretty Woman’ Reportedly in Health Crisis and Going Blind Due to Effects of Meningitis

Julia Roberts is said to be going through a difficult time due to a health crisis. Her situation is being kept a secret but her health is really on a decline according to insiders.

The National Enquirer (via Gossip Cop) reported that Julia Roberts is going blind and she has been hiding this fact for a long time. A source allegedly said that the “Pretty Woman” actress is currently suffering from the effects of spinal meningitis that she acquired in the 80s. The effects are said to have gotten worst and the actress has been experiencing crippling migraines in addition to neck and back pains.

With her condition, Julia Roberts is said to be not just losing her eyesight but her beautiful looks are also fading due to the pain she had to go through every day. “When people meet Julia in person, they can’t believe it’s her!” the source supposedly told the tabloid.

The insider went on to say, “She looks a lot older than she does on camera. Her skin has started to sag and wrinkle, her crow’s feet are as plain as day, and jowls are beginning to form. Now she’s petrified at losing film roles to younger stars such as Jennifer Lawrence!”

Despite slowly losing her beauty, it was said that what Julia Roberts is most concerned about is her declining eyesight. Many people already know that the actress was born blind in one eye. In fact, New Idea previously reported that the actress was told that her fading eyesight could be permanent and this diagnosis scared her.

“Julia’s biggest fear is that she will lose her eyesight,’ Julia’s friend reportedly told New Idea. “Of course, her worst nightmare would be if she were unable to see her kids. They are her heart and soul, her entire universe and a reason for living.”

Despite these seemingly truthful claims, Gossip Cop stated that Julia Roberts is not going through a health crisis like what was claimed. She has no trouble walking or constantly feeling exhausted due to rheumatism and other problems with her joints.

GC explained that the meningitis claim that is causing her other eye to lose its sight was not even verified in the first place. She allegedly contracted the disease in the 80s but this was never confirmed.

If she indeed had the disease, medical experts explained the condition can improve without treatment in a few weeks so the “lingering effects” mentioned are false. Julia Robert’s health crisis is definitely not true.
