John Gillespie of Outdoor Lighting Perspectives Naples Receives Top Outdoor Lighting Industry Award Third Year In A Row

Richmond, Virginia, July 27, 2017 -- Richmond, VA – July 25, 2017 – John Gillespie of Outdoor Lighting Perspectives Naples was recently presented with the 2017 AOLP Bronze Award for the Best Small Residential Lighting Project at the 2017 Association of Outdoor Lighting Professionals (AOLP) Conference.

This Pelican Bay home's lush, tropical landscape and stunning cobblestone driveway were an inspiration to expert outdoor lighting designer, John Gillespie. Using strategically placed up-lighting, Mr. Gillespie and the Outdoor Lighting Perspectives of Naples team highlighted the grandeur of two large oak trees on each side of the driveway. Subtle LED down lighting creates a soft and ambient glow on this property's cobble stone driveway and beautifully contrasts with the dramatic presence of the landscape's lush and tropical vegetation.

For the third year in a row, John Gillespie of Outdoor Lighting Perspectives Naples, was awarded an AOLP Award for Best Residential (Small) Lighting project. He was presented with the Lighting Award of Merit – Best Small Residential Lighting in 2016 and 2015. The landscape lighting project was for a Pelican Bay custom built estate home. The home’s lush, tropical landscape and stunning cobblestone driveway were truly inspiring to Mr. Gillespie. Using strategically placed up-lighting, Mr. Gillespie and the Outdoor Lighting Perspectives of Naples team were able to highlight the grandeur of two large oak trees on each side of the driveway. To create a softer glow on the stone drive, the team applied integrated LED down lighting, which beautifully contrasts the dramatic presence of the vegetation.

In all, the team installed 18 high-quality, integrated LED bronzed brass outdoor lights, illuminating potted palms and other low-lying plants.
