Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are planning to have a romantic wedding with Elton John and Stevie Wonder gracing the event as performers. It was said that the couple has chosen Italy as the place where they will exchange “I Do.”
Australia’s Woman’s Day reported that Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez want to get married in the picturesque town of Ravello in Italy. To be more specific, J.Lo and A-Rod booked the Belmond Hotel Caruso for their union. The structure is an 11th-century palace that overlooks the Amalfi Coast.
Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez rented out 50 rooms in the hotel because their A-list friends including Nicole Kidman, Beyonce, Cameron Diaz and more are staying there as well. The total bill for the wedding is allegedly $5 million as the accommodation alone already cost $318,000 per night and the wedding package is valued at $764,000.
But then again, Gossip Cop stepped in to debunk the Jennifer Lopez – Alex Rodriguez Italian wedding. Firstly, it pointed out that the report originally came out last year and months had passed without any nuptials taking place. Plus, the fact-checking site investigated a bit and around the time when the couple was said to have reserved 50 rooms at the Belmond Hotel Caruso, records showed that most of the rooms were available, proving that no multiple-room reservation was ever made.
What’s more, Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are not engaged and they never have until now. Thus, the wedding news was totally bogus. No other details about the supposed wedding were provided as well such as the exact day and the entourage so the lack of it is another proof that it was a false report.
Finally, the representative of Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez also responded to Gossip Cop’s inquiry about the rumor and was told that there is no truth to the claims. This is not the first time that Woman’s Day released a fake wedding report about the pair so this is really not new anymore.
