Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are engaged now and it was alleged that the pair is opting for an “open marriage” because the actress/singer has accepted the fact that her fiance is a cheater. The rumor emerged after Jose Canseco, former MLB player accused A-Rod of cheating with his ex-wife Jessica Canseco.
Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez announced their engagement last week. The latter proposed to the former and she accepted his proposal. Shortly after the couple’s engagement spread, Jose Canseco made a shocking claim via social media. On Twitter, he wrote, “Alex Rodriguez stop being a piece of shit stop cheating on Jennifer Lopez.”
But that is not all, the former MLB star alleged that A-Rod has been meeting his ex-wife Jessica behind J.Lo’s back. And in reply to this post, his former wife slammed Canseco for the false claim.
“Those false accusations Jose is making are not true! I have known Alex for many years and haven’t even seen him for over 5,” Jessica tweeted. “I certainly did not sleep with him. I am friendly with both him and Jennifer. As for Jose, he can keep playing with his Alien friends”
Jennifer Lopez is said to be devastated upon hearing the cheating rumor but although she felt this way, the news did not come as a shock anymore. This is because, she already accepted this fact, this side of A-Rod.
“This is something she is going to have to get used to, and she’s made her peace with that," the source said. "Alex definitely has a reputation for being a serial cheater.”
But Gossip Cop stepped in and debunked the report that Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez want an “open marriage” to supposedly accommodate his cheating ways. But as said before, this is not true. The couple is not planning an arrangement where A-Rod can freely see other women even when they tie the knot.
