Reports have it that Jennifer Garner considers his relationship with John Miller is the “first real” one she has had since her split from Ben Affleck. With that, the actress allegedly thinks it is better to keep things as private as possible.
Being always in the front pages of tabloids is an often unnecessary price to pay for major Hollywood celebrities like Garner. This could explain why she would prefer to avoid as much publicity as she can when it comes to her fairly new romance with Miller.
Unfortunately, since the news that they are dating broke, reports about Garner and Miller have been non-stop. And this reportedly pushed the actress to “[slow] things down,” according to Entertainment Tonight.
To be clear, though, E! News was told that Jennifer Garner and John Miller are still going out on dates. However, the “Peppermint” star is “determined” to avoid too much publicity. Garner is said to be meeting the Cali Group CEO in “private places” and she has been “enjoying being with him and doing it the way she wants."
Meanwhile, Garner is also said to be prioritizing at the moment and maintaining a “deeply committed” relationship is not on top of her list. “She wants to focus on family, career and getting Ben back on track. She enjoys her time with John but she has concerns of moving too quickly because she doesn’t want to be disappointed,” ET’s source added.
Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck separated in 2015 but their divorce was only finalized in early November following an amicable settlement. They reportedly agreed to just sign the divorce agreement once Affleck completes his rehab program.
They did sign the papers in early October according to documents obtained by The Blast. Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck’s divorce settlement was then reportedly finalized by a judge in early November. Coincidentally, John Miller’s divorce from Caroline Campbell was also made official about a week later.
