Hollywood's grapevine loves making mountains out of molehills, with Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux's recent divorce being one of their favorite topics to talk about. While stories about the couple may seem hot and cold from time to time, they all eventually lead to the inevitable setup that Justin Theroux and Jennifer Aniston are giving each other a hard time after their divorce.
Recently, a rumor has been spreading that Jennifer Aniston has still been in contact with Justin Theroux. The stories claim that Aniston has been constantly texting and e-mailing Theroux and would send him pictures of the occasional quote that Aniston felt would make the 47-year-old actor laugh.
Gossip Cop debunked the recent rumors by pointing out that the same publication has also published other stories in the past that have been easily debunked. Amongst the past stories the publication has claimed to be true include Justin Theroux and Jennifer Aniston talking about Theroux's insecurity over Aniston supposedly dating her trainer, Leyon Azubuike. Justin Theroux also got his chance to shine when the same publication claimed that Aniston was jealous of him dating Selena Gomez.
Gossip Cop has already debunked the past stories about Justin Theroux and Jennifer Aniston made by the publication. Gossip Cop has confirmed that Jennifer Aniston never dated her trainer – which would invalidate claims of Theroux's alleged jealousy – and Justin Theroux himself never dated Selena Gomez.
In addition, Justin Theroux's most recent public interview with The New York Times gave no indication that “The Spy Who Dumped Me” actor was still in contact with Jennifer Aniston. The fact that Theroux now resides in New York while Jennifer Aniston resides in Los Angeles may also make it harder for the former couple to continue talking to each other as often as the rumor mill makes it out to be.
If there is a grain of truth that can be confirmed from Justin Theroux's interview with The New York Times, it's that fans can expect the current relationship between him and Jennifer Aniston to be as congenial and quiet as the couple mentioned in their original divorce statement.
