Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson have gotten a lot of flak from fans and the media for having been close as they are since the releases of the pair's “Fifty Shades of Grey” and its sequels.
Much of the speculation on a Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson affair has been around the torrid visuals that the “Fifty Shades” series has exemplified. But people are in for a rude awakening when they realize that these actors are professionals and lead very much slightly glitzier versions of our normal lives outside of the big screen.
Dornan is married to actress and musician Amelia Warner. The couple is not that active on social media, but the rare sightings of them together, or with their daughter, have always painted the picture of a private but close couple. The couple's five-year marriage does not seem to be in any danger of Jamie Dornan walking out of the picture to pursue Dakota Johnson.
Dakota Johnson, who has been dating Chris Martin since last year, may have been low-key about their whole relationship but this is hardly any reason for her to be out to snatch her former co-star from the loving embrace of his family. People Magazine has even reported that the couple may even be ready to move in together. Johnson reportedly even has good relationships with Martin's children, as well as his ex-wife, Gwyneth Paltrow.
Anyone claiming that the closeness of two actors who have been through the challenges of three movies -- from “Fifty Shades of Grey” to “Fifty Shades Freed” -- is enough of a sign of an affair, notwithstanding the lack of evidence of any such skulking, is grasping at straws. We should let Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson enjoy the loves of their lives until we hear about upcoming projects amidst the hustle and bustle of celebrity work-life balance.
