Italian industrial sales remain unchanged sequentially in November, new orders index falls 0.3 pct

Italian industrial turnover index continued to be the same in November. According to the official statistical office, Istat, the seasonally adjusted turnover index remained unchanged sequentially. The domestic market and non-domestic market indices came in at +0.3 percent and -0.4 percent, respectively. The average of the last three months rose 0.2 percent compared to the previous three months.

The seasonally adjusted industrial new orders index dropped 0.3 sequentially in November. The domestic market and non-domestic market new orders indices came in at +0.1 percent and -0.7 percent, respectively. The average of the last three months rose 0.9 percent compared to the prior three months.

On a year-on-year basis, the industrial turnover index rose 0.1 percent. The domestic market index rose 0.6 percent, while the non-domestic market index fell 1.2 percent. The unadjusted industrial new orders index dropped 4.3 percent year-on-year.

The seasonally adjusted volume turnover index remained the same sequentially; the average of the last three months rose 0.3 percent compared to the previous three months. The calendar adjusted volume turnover index rose 0.2 percent year-on-year.
