Despite being divorced now, tabloids will always try to link Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie when coming up with rumors about the two. The latest story is claiming that Jolie is furious because Pitt introduced their kids to his rumored girlfriend Alia Shawkat.
The latest buzz came from Life & Style, according to Gossip Cop. The publication claimed that Pitt introduced Shawkat to five of his six kids with Jolie. Only there oldest son Maddox has not meet her because he is currently studying in South Korea.
Jolie was reportedly angry upon learning that her kids already met Shawkat. “She’s extremely protective over them, and no woman will ever be good enough to play stepmom in her eyes – especially so soon. She’s furious!” Life & Style quoted an anonymous source.
The tipster also claimed that the kids loved Shawkat. Shiloh thinks she is cool while Zahara loves her sense of style and the two are even planning for a shopping trip together.
Jolie is making drastic moves to stop her kids from hanging out with Shawkat. “She’s even threatened to stop Brad from having them on his birthday [December 18], and over Christmas, if Alia is around,” the supposed insider added. “That would be devastating.”
Rumors that Pitt might be dating Shawkat started when they were photographed at the Wilding Cran Gallery in Los Angeles, according to Gossip Cop. The two were also spotted backstage at Mike Birbiglia’s one-man show in October and leaving together from Ethan Cohen’s “A Play Is A Poem” back in September.
While numerous publications started printing dating stories, a few bucked the trend and reported that they’re not. For instance, Entertainment Tonight reported that Pitt and Shawkat are “not a couple and there’s nothing romantic going on.” Furthermore, Pitt’s spokesperson confirmed to Gossip Cop that the two are not dating.
In addition, Pitt does not seem to be in a hurry to date considering that he told the New York Times that all those dating rumors since he and Angelina Jolie divorced are untrue. “I don’t know how many women they’ve said I’ve been dating the last two or three years, and none of it’s true,” the actor said.
