Intuit, a financial management specialist, has recently announced that it will expand its PayByCoin product to Australia.
Launched in June, PayByCoin incorporates bitcoin into the QuickBooks service, which enables its small business merchant network to accept bitcoin. Intuit said that the bitcoin service produced better results than anticipated with respect to enrolment, leading them to expand the program.
The PayByCoin product was supported through collaboration with payment processor Coinbase at the launch, although the recent update shows that it is now using BitPay's platform API.
