MELVILLE, N.Y., Sept. 07, 2017 -- BZ Media LLC announced today the opening of InterDrone™ The International Drone Conference & Exposition at the Rio Hotel in Las Vegas. The event is being attended by more than 3,800 drone builders, flyers and buyers and features 125 classes and panels, and more than 170 exhibiting companies in nearly 270 booths. FAA Administrator Michael P. Huerta gave Opening Remarks, followed by a Grand Keynote by Intel CEO Brian Krzanich who treated the crowd with a live drone demo and announced a new platform called Intel Insight.
In addition to the keynotes, a slew of new product announcements was made by exhibitors on Day 1.
“InterDrone™ is the largest commercial drone conference and expo in North America this year, reaching every constituency in this red-hot market,” said Ted Bahr, Chairman of InterDrone. “More than 320 media and association partners on six continents have helped build InterDrone into the premier ‘Big Tent’ commercial drone event.”
