Istation’s ISIP provides reliable data with frequent, age-appropriate measurement for students. While adjusting to each student’s reading ability, the interactive assessment keeps developing readers engaged and provides educators with the data they need to help students grow.
“We are honored to be chosen as a partner with Idaho public schools,” said Istation Chairman and CEO Richard H. Collins. “Students and teachers across Idaho will now have access to technology that can assist teachers and help all students enhance their reading proficiency.”
Istation will be part of the Idaho Reading Initiative (IRI). The IRI is designed to ensure that all children in the state of Idaho will master the skills they need to become successful readers.
An entire class can be assessed in all measures in 30–40 minutes in a computer lab setting. Individually, the subtests range from approximately 3–10 minutes. Instant scoring results and a wealth of reports are available, including Lexile measures. Over 2,500 teacher-directed lessons are available to support teachers with targeted instruction in reading.
