OLATHE, Kan., Sept. 21, 2016 -- Hooper Holmes, Inc. (NYSE MKT:HH) today announced a $1.8 million private placement equity offering to certain accredited investors. Pursuant to securities purchase agreements entered into with the investors, the Company issued and sold approximately 1.3 million shares of common stock at $1.35 per share. In addition, the company issued warrants to purchase an equal number of shares with a strike price of $2.00 per share that will expire in four years. The securities purchase agreements are part of an exempt private equity offering in which the company may raise up to a total of $2.0 million on the sale of approximately 1.5 million shares and warrants.
