Gwen Stefani sets the record straight and lets everyone knows that she is not married to Blake Shelton. Gavin Rossdale’s ex even said that she is not even engaged to Miranda Lambert’s ex yet so the marriage news reports are clearly false.
Gwen Stefani also happily shared that despite the fact that they are still not married, she and Blake Shelton are doing really well as a couple. She assumed that people only misunderstand them because her relationship to her current beau is going so smoothly.
At any rate, Gwen Stefani addressed the speculations that she already tied the knot with Blake Shelton to stop the fake news. The songstress was able to talk about it when she recently appeared on “Ellen DeGeneres Show” to promote her Deluxe holiday album.
According to USA Today, the show’s host, Ellen DeGeneres, tried to trick Gwen Stefani into revealing her supposedly married status to Blake Shelton. However, it did not work as the “You Make it Feel Like Christmas” singer only laughed when Portia De Rossi’s wife told Gwen, "Blake told me that y’all are engaged now."
The singer was surprised and laughed at Ellen’s comments before responding, "No he didn't. No, we're not. No, we're not. No, we're not."
Ellen still did not give it a rest and continued to pry despite Gwen Stefani already denying the rumors. “Yes, he told me you're engaged. So let’s talk about that," the host insisted.
To this, Gwen exclaimed, "What are you talking about? We're not engaged and we’re not married. And he’s my boyfriend still."
The wedding rumors about Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have been around for quite a while now and even if the couple denies them, the stories continue to go around. In fact, this is the second time that Gwen addressed the engagement and wedding news on the “Ellen Show” but it seems that the media will not stop insisting that they are getting married soon or have tied the knot already.
