Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton will be celebrating their anniversary this month and gossip publications are once again speculating that the “I Live It” crooner will be proposing soon, Hollywood Life reported. Engagement, wedding, and pregnancy rumors have been a constant for the couple since they started dating in 2015.
Now, it’s the same narrative. While there’s no doubt that Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are deeply in love with each other, there’s still no sign that the two are actually gearing up to tie the knot or that an engagement is expected when they finally celebrate their three years of being together.
The reason is that Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton want to take it slow given that their previous relationships weren’t exactly filled with smiles and rainbows. Before the duo fell in love, they were both involved in marriages that ended on a sour note.
Gwen Stefani was married to Gavin Rossdale for 14 years before the latter was allegedly caught having an affair with their kids’ nanny, Mindy Mann. Mann was fired after news broke out and the couple eventually divorced. Meanwhile, Blake Shelton was married to Miranda Lambert before their relationship took a sharp decline.
Although the ex-couple said they parted on good terms, there are a lot of whispers out there saying that infidelity was the caused for the duo’s separation. It isn’t clear if Blake Shelton or Miranda Lambert was the one had an affair. Following the incident, the pair finalized their divorce merely 10 days after consulting a legal counsel. As Shelton and Gwen Stefani dealt with their broken hearts, they slowly developed a bond on the set of “The Voice” that eventually led to their romance. Stefani even said that it was their divorce that caused them to gravitate towards each other.
So far, the couple’s relationship is going strong. Blake Shelton proved to be quite the partner for Gwen Stefani as the crooner not only bonded with the “Don’t’ Speak” singer but with her three sons as well. Given the things that the two celebrities went through, it’s understandable that they aren’t rushing things and are enjoying what they currently have.
Of course, there’s still the chance that Blake Shelton will propose to Gwen Stefani on their anniversary since an engagement doesn’t necessarily have to be followed by a wedding shortly after. Only time will tell whether the “Turnin’ Me On” singer will pop the question on the day of their anniversary. Fortunately, fans of the couple won’t have to wait long for this development as this milestone will be happening this November.
