- Japan - Flash reading shows manufacturing PMI to drop to 50.9 in September from 51.7 in August. All industry activity index grew 0.2% in July after rising 0.5% in June.
- Germany - GFK consumer confidence survey dropped to 9.6 in October from 9.9 in September. IFO business climate rose to 108.5 in September, current assessment came at 114 and ISO expectations came at 103.3 in September.
- France - Business climate rose to 104 in September.
- Italy - Industrial sales drop by -1.15 in July while orders rose by 0.6%. Retail sales rose by 0.4% in July from June, up 1.7% on yearly basis.
- UK - BBA mortgage approvals rose to 46,743 in August from 46,315 in July.

- Euro Zone - ECB will declare size of Targeted LTRO at 9:15 GMT.
- Italy - Preliminary reading on Trade balance to be declared at 10:00 GMT.
- US - Initial jobless claims to be released at 12:30 GMT, along with Chicago FED national activity index and durable goods orders. New home sales scheduled for 14:00 GMT, followed by Kansas FED manufacturing index at 15:00 GMT. EIA will release weekly natural gas report at 14:30 GMT. FED's Yellen is scheduled to speak at 21:00 GMT.
- Japan - Japan will release national CPI and Tokyo CPI at 23:30 GMT.
- Auctions - Italy will auction 10 year bond today and US will auction 7 year note at 17:00 GMT.
