- China - Flash PMI reading shows China's manufacturing PMI dropped to 47 in September, from 47.3 in August, lowest level in 6 and half years.

- France - Second quarter GDP to be released at 6:45 GMT, followed by flash reading on manufacturing and services PMI at 7:00 GMT.
- Germany - Flash reading on manufacturing and services to be released at 7:30 GMT.
- Euro Zone - Flash reading on manufacturing and services PMI to be released at 8:00 GMT. ECB president Draghi is scheduled to speak at 13:00 GMT.
- US - MBA mortgage applications to be released at 11:00 GMT, followed by flash reading on Markit manufacturing PMI for September at 13:45 GMT. EIA will release week crude inventory report at 14:30 GMT
- Canada - Retail sales for August to be released at 12:30 GMT.
- Switzerland - Swiss National Bank (SNB) to release quarterly bulletin at 13:00 GMT.
- New Zealand - Trade balance for August to be released at 22:45 GMT.
- Japan - Japan will release foreign investment statistics at 23:50 GMT.
- Auctions - US will auction 5 year note at 17:00 GMT.
