Lot of economic releases scheduled for today. Focus is on ADP employment and services PMI.
Data released so far -
- Japan - Services PMI slowed to 51.2 in July from 51.8 in June.
- China - Services PMI rose to 53.8 in July from 51.8 in June.
- Spain - Services PMI rose to 59.7 in July from 56.1 prior.
- Switzerland - Consumer price index down -0.6% in July from June, down -1.3% on yearly basis.
- Italy - Services PMI slowed to 52 from 53.4 in June. Industrial output dropped -1.1% in June from May.
- France - Services PMI remained flat at 52 in July.
- Germany - German services PMI rose to 53.8 in July from 53.7 in June.
- Euro zone - Services PMI rose to 54 from 53.8 in June. Retail sales rose by 1.2% in June on yearly basis but down -0.6% from May.
- UK - Services PMI slowed to 57.4 in July from 58.5 in June.
Upcoming -
- US - MBA mortgage applications to be released at 11:00 GMT, followed by ADP employment report at 12:15 GMT and Trade balance at 12:30 GMT. Markit services PMI to be scheduled at 13:45 GMT, followed by ISM non- manufacturing PMI at 14:00 GMT. EIA will release crude oil weekly report at 14:30 GMT.
- Canada - International merchandise trade balance to be released at 12:30 GMT.
