- Australia - Trade deficit for March, shrank to -1.3 billion, with exports and imports both shrinking by 2%. Reserve bank of Australia (RBA) reduced policy rates by 25 basis points.
- France - Budget deficit for March rose to € -26.29 billion from prior € -23.45 billion.
- Spain - Unemployment dropped by 118.9K in April, suggesting that recovery is gathering pace.

- Euro zone - Producer price index for March would be released at 9:00 GMT along with European Commission's economic growth forecast.
- Canada - Trade balance statistic to be released at 12:30 GMT.
- US - Trade balance statistics to be released at 12:30 GMT followed by Redbook index at 12:55 GMT and Markit services and Composite PMI at 13:45 GMT. ISM non-manufacturing PMI is scheduled for 14:00 GMT along with TIPP economic optimism.
- New Zealand - Unemployment and labor statistics would be released at 22:45 GMT.
