- Australia - Consumer inflation expectation improved in April to 3.4%, from prior 3.2%. Job report turned out to be fantastic. Unemployment rates dropped to 6.1%, down from 6.2%. 37.7K people were added to payroll in March, with full time increasing by 31.2K. New motor vehicles sales grew by 4.4% y/y in March.
- China - FDI growth dropped to 11.3% y/y in March.
- Switzerland - Producer and import price index for March grew 0.2% m/m however dropped -3.4% yearly basis.
Upcoming -
- Italy - Trade balance details will be released at 8:00 GMT.
- US - Lot many medium risk economic dockets to be released today. Housing starts to be released at 12:30 GMT, along with initial jobless claims. Philadelphia Fed manufacturing survey to be released at 14:00 GMT. Four FED speakers are scheduled today, FED's Lockhart at 17:00 GMT, followed by Mester at 17:10 GMT, FED's Rosengren at 17:30 GMT and finally Stanley Fischer at 19:00 GMT.
