‘Grown-ish’ Season 2 Episode 14 Air Date, Spoilers: Zoey Struggles to Find a Job as Her Bank Account Empties

“Grown-ish” season 2 episode 14 is up next and the viewers will be treated to an amazing story when it airs. This is the second half of the second installment’s run and it will continue with Zoey’s (Yara Shahidi) narrative.

The viewers will more relatable scenes according to the show’s executives and these will be presented in “Grown-ish” season 2 episode 14 by showing how the characters go through difficulties to learn about life. They will be tackling real issues that most people experience in adulthood so most people can pick up one or two lessons as well.

As per Disney’s press release, the plot summary for “Grown-ish” season 2 episode 14 reads: “Zoey starts to feel the impact of her dwindling bank account. Her friends encourage her to get a job, but she struggles to find something that vibes with her career goals.”

In addition, “Ana and Aaron consider attempting the “Shield Challenge.”

Apparently, since Zoey’s father cut off support for his daughter in the season 2 finale, she has no choice but to look for a job to survive. Her money is running out with her bank account nearing its zero balance.

She needs to adjust her lifestyle as she cannot afford the luxuries anymore. It was hard for her but there is nothing she can do to change her situation unless she works in the “Grown-ish” season 2 episode 14.

“This is the first time that Zoey is generally out of her bubble because she’s always had that socioeconomic status to fall back on,” Deadline quoted Shahidi as saying. “Even in those moments where she is connected to the world around her, there’s that layer of the class system and the fact that she has been raised in this wealthier lifestyle so her being cut off is such a shift, I appreciate the journey the character goes on.”

After “Grown-ish” season 2 episode 14 airs next week, there will be six more episodes to go as it was extended from the regular 13 to 20. With this expansion, the show’s EP Craig Doyle said that this gave the writers a “little bit more real estate to be able to step certain things out.”

Meanwhile, fans would be happy to know that season 3 has been approved so it is already certain that the story will continue after this run’s finale. “Grown-ish” season 2 episode 14 will be on broadcast on June 19 at 8 p.m. on Freeform. See the preview below:
