In the next couple of episodes of “Grey’s Anatomy” season 15, fans will find Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) going out on a “date” with DeLuca (Giacomo Gianniotti) and Link (Chris Carmack). However, there are also some clues that she might eventually choose DeLuca over the orthopedic surgeon and Thor-look-alike.
A love triangle among these three characters has been brewing in the past episodes of “Grey’s Anatomy” season 15. But up to this point, it is still unknown how Meredith is going to settle this once and for all. The upcoming 12th episode is not helping either.
After spending some chummy moments with Link, Meredith got the chance to understand him as a doctor and as a person. So fans can expect these two to become closer in “Grey’s Anatomy” season 15 episode 12.
Meanwhile, the promo video for “Grey’s Anatomy” season 15 episode 12 shows DeLuca finally gets the chance to go on a date with Meredith. However, it appears that Link has the upper hand as it will be Meredith to ask him out to dinner – all for DeLuca to witness. DeLuca, as expected, protests at that sight telling Meredith she is giving Link false hope. But Mer replies, “Who says it false?”
Those instances might sound alarming for Team DeLuca. However, the synopsis for “Grey’s Anatomy” season 15 episode 13 hints that Meredith is actually considering being on a relationship with DeLuca.
The Valentine’s Day episode seems to deal with more serious issues in the hospital and in the characters’ relationships. It can be recalled that DeLuca used to be involved with Maggie (Kelly McReary), Meredith’s half-sister.
Out of respect, Mer asks Maggie how she feels about the whole DeLuca situation in “Grey’s Anatomy” season 15 episode 13. But the latter encounters something (or someone) from the past that “throws off her game” on the same day when Meredith opens up about possibly dating DeLuca.
The imminent miscommunication between these women could potentially delay the development of Meredith and DeLuca’s relationship. “Grey’s Anatomy” season 15 episode 12 airs on Thursday, Feb. 7 while the 13th episode drops on Feb. 14.
