SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico, Feb. 01, 2018 -- Green Spirit Industries Inc. (OTC Pink:GSRX) (“Green Spirit” or the “Company”) announced today that it commenced construction on its fourth of five medicinal cannabis dispensary locations in Puerto Rico. Located in the Hato Rey district of San Juan, this is the newest location for which the Company has received pre-qualification for a dispensary license from the Department of Health or Puerto Rico.
Green Spirit’s newest dispensary is located at Calle César González #508, Hato Rey, Puerto Riuco 00918. San Juan‘s Hato Rey district includes a mix of both residential and commercial properties and is the city’s most densely populated district. The medicinal cannabis dispensary is located in a heavily trafficked area and is in close proximity to a large concentration of doctors’ offices and medical practices; most motably Clinica las Americas Medical Center and El Maestro Hospital. As part of the acquisition, completed in early January, Green Spirit assumed the dispensary’s building lease.
Like the Company’s other locations throughout Puerto Rico, this dispensary will offer patients an extensive selection of medicinal cannabis.
To date, the Company has completed construction at one of its dispensary locations and anticipates completing construction at its remaining locations by the end of the first quarter of 2018, with operations commencing thereafter upon receipt of the requisite operating permits from the DHPR.
